In 2023, I participated with seven studies in eight tourneys. Three studies received a commendation, two studies a honourable mention and one study got a prize (some awards are still preliminary). One study failed, and rightly so. Another study was submitted, but remained in the editor's spam folder until it was automatically deleted.

Fun fact: I submitted my first study on June 14, 2023 and the prize was awarded on June 14, 2024 (different studies, though).

Here are my studies in publication order (except of no. 4 which I added for some reason to no. 3).

No. 1

White to move and win.

Sinfonie Scacchistiche nr 154 (October 2023), p 277, no. 826.

Five agile knight studies!? Well, at least there's no sixth one submitted or even planned.

When I started with studies for tourneys, I consciously chose an endgame type I hadn't worked with much before: knight endings.

Will I repeat the experiment in 2024? Yes, but certainly not in this form.
